Baseball is a game like no other.


Baseball provides our children with life long lessons by teaching them to overcome individual failure within a positive environment. You stand up to bat alone, yet your whole team is with
you. Strikeout 6 of 10 times, and you will be welcomed into the Hall of Fame! Baseball teaches our children how to overcome adversity, gives them confidence and teamwork skills that will help shape them. Coach: Coach Steve Hoff is focused is on pitching and hitting but teaches all aspects of the game. During Steve Hoff's 6-year professional playing career, Steve Hoff played over 345 innings, two all-star teams and shattered strikeout records. Steve not only has a resume of success that come with being a PRO baseball pitcher, but he has also distilled the philosophies of every coach who helped him along the way. Today he is the pitching coach for Canada Collage and enjoys teaching others.

Info: Private lessons are taught in Future Pro's facility in Burlingame. The center piece of the facility are the LED pitching machines. The LED pitching machines show the pitcher winding up and delivering the pitch. This provides a realistic game-like experience to improve your hitting. Two speed, left and right handed pitches are available with the LED machines. Softball players can hit on both slow and fast pitch machines. Custom built soft pitch machines are also available.
Coaches:

Coach Terry Whitfield's hitting instruction for students of all ages is provided by Terry Whitfield, former major league player with the New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers and the Japan Seibu Lions. During his career, Terry studied the techniques of successful batters and watched hundreds of hours of film analyzing the bio mechanics of hitting. His positive and technique-oriented coaching style enhances skills and builds confidence in hitters. Ed Ricks is Future Pro's pitching coach. Ed previously played with the Yankees, White Sox and Toronto Blue Jays before his career was cut short by injuries. Because of his own experience, Ed is committed to teaching his students the proper mechanics for throwing a baseball and building a sound foundation upon which a pitcher can build his career.

Tony received a scholarship from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he was the starting second baseman and MVP for four years. After graduation, he was signed by the Baltimore Orioles. He has trained every age level and has led a high school varsity softball team to the league championship. His 25 years of coaching experience is woven into a manual on the complete game of baseball, with an emphasis on hitting. A proud father of four, his greatest joy is working with young players and witnessing their joy of improvement, on and off the field.

Info: AM skills camp -Players will be grouped by age, ability and prior experience. Program emphasis will be on individual skills, fundamentals and beginning team strategy. Areas covered will include outfield play, infield play, pitching, rundowns, base running, sliding, double plays, and much more. Check in and all instruction will be held at the Stanford Varsity Baseball Field (Sunken Diamond). Stanford's "state of the art" batting cages and pitching machines will be used and all campers will hit each day. Coach to camper ratio is one coach for every 10 players. All campers will receive a Stanford Baseball cap and camp t-shirt. PM The skills learned in Baseball School will be put into game situations. Each team will have 10 players and will play together and be coached by the same coach all week. 50% of each session is devoted to games and the other 50% to hitting in batting cages and viewing baseball videos. Branham Baseball camp is targeted at baseball players ages 7-13 who are interested in learning the fundamentals of the game and in improving their skills. All skill levels are welcome and will benefit from high-level coaching. Campers will be instructed in the areas of throwing, hitting, fielding, sportsmanship and base running, as well as individual skill areas (such as pitching and catching). Daily scrimmages will provide campers with the opportunity to practice and showcase their skills.
